Job Description
We’re looking for a collaborative, detail-oriented Business Analyst to work alongside our technical teams and clients in delivering smart, scalable solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
Many of our projects involve end-user or public-facing portals, and your experience with portal-based solutions will help ensure a seamless user experience from the ground up. You’ll gather and document requirements, map processes, and ensure what we build matches what end users need.
Location & Work Environment
This role offers a flexible, hybrid work model. Team members may work from home, on-site with clients, or from our office in Regina, Saskatchewan. While much of our work is delivered remotely, some client-facing activities—such as workshops, planning sessions, or implementation milestones—may require in-person participation depending on the engagement.
We're Growing
We have multiple roles opening across our Power Platform team in the months ahead. If this posting aligns with your expertise, even if the timing isn't perfect, we still encourage you to apply or reach out. We're always happy to connect with strong candidates early!
Requirements
You’re a strong communicator with a knack for translating business needs into clear technical direction. You bring:
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in software or Microsoft-centric environments
- Fluency in Power Pages, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dynamics CRM and Power BI applications
- Experience supporting solutions that include end-user or public-facing portals
- Experience creating process diagrams and interactive prototypes to communicate solution concepts and user flows
- Strong documentation, facilitation, and process mapping skills
- Experience with Agile methodologies, user story creation, and backlog grooming
- Relevant certifications such as IIBA EBAP (Expert Business Analysis Professional) or Microsoft PL-900 (Power Platform Fundamentals)
- Eligibility to work in Canada and obtain Government of Canada personnel security screening clearance
Responsibilities
You’ll act as the connector between clients and delivery teams—helping ensure we build the right thing, the right way. Specifically, you will:
- Lead discovery and requirements gathering sessions with internal and external stakeholders
- Document user stories, process maps, functional specifications and supporting visuals (including process diagrams and interactive prototypes) to clearly communicate solution intent
- Translate client needs into requirements that align with Power Platform capabilities, including portal-based solutions
- Collaborate closely with developers and testers to ensure delivery success
- Support UAT, training, and adoption activities
